Sarasota Sadness

I am perpetually bored. There is no here my age, well no one worth talking to. I just want to go home and hug my dog.

Is drinking wine while completing English homework wrong? oh well. So the past couple of weeks its been an insane scramble to complete homework while attending riding lessons. Tests, assignments, making sure I have everything in line for show season ( my memberships have been a complete bitch to obtain) and trying to fit sleep somewhere in between that has proven itself a worthy opponent. I finally took a day off to just relax and chill out. The student life really isn’t an easy one… Maybe I’ll have another glass of wine.

NASA’s Spitzer Telescope brings 360-degree view of galaxy to our fingertips

After Big Bang

Touring the Milky Way now is as easy as clicking a button with NASA’s new zoomable, 360-degree mosaic presented Thursday at the TEDActive 2014 Conference in Vancouver, Canada.

When you look up at the Milky Way on a clear, dark night, you'll see a band of bright stars arching overhead. This is the plane of our flat spiral galaxy, within which our solar system lies. Let’s go to Calabria?

so here are my thoughts. My Nonna isn’t getting any younger and who’s a better tour guide than someone who spent the better years of her life in the beautiful state of Calabria? Although flights and accommodations in Europe are extremely expensive,  university is right around the corner, and my expensive hobbies, I think that we should all make an effort to get to Italy, as a family, before anything happens… if you catch my drift. My Nonna is from one of the most beautiful places on earth, we have to go, there shouldn’t be any second thoughts ( mind you the fact that I have recently watched the God Father may have influenced this epiphany) And maybe there is a handsome Italian lad waiting for me? ahaha fat chance.
